Systems for contractors and trades companies

We build the systems that keep good contractors busy.

Websites, local search, faster follow-up, estimating, proposals, and back office automation. We test all of it inside our own contracting companies before we bring it to yours.

Built by Joshua Hill, co-owner of King Tides Construction, Bellingham Painting Co., and Bellingham Floor Pros.

Licensed WA general contractor Real crews, real jobs The same systems we sell
Why us

Most people who sell marketing to contractors have never run a crew. We have.

Outcomes Automation is run by an operator. We own and run a painting company, a flooring company, and the licensed general contractor that sits over them. The websites, the estimating, the follow-up, the review requests, the dashboards: our own trucks run on all of it every week.

If a system cannot survive real leads, real estimates, and real customers, we do not sell it to you. That is the whole difference.

Where the work goes

Jobs rarely disappear at the job. They leak earlier.

The gap between getting found, answering the phone, sending the estimate, and following up is where most contractors quietly lose money. Here is where it goes.

Leak 01

You are hard to find

If you are not on page one and in the map pack, the customer calls the next name. Most never scroll.

Leak 02

The phone goes unanswered

A missed call is a missed job. After hours, it is a missed customer you never knew you had. People go with the first business that actually answers.

Leak 03

The estimate takes too long

Every day a quote sits is a day the customer keeps shopping. Slow quotes lose to fast ones, even at a higher price.

Leak 04

Nobody follows up

Many jobs take more than one follow-up. Most contractors stop after the first.

Leak 05

The office is a guessing game

Leads live in a phone, a text thread, and somebody's memory. Money slips through the cracks.

The fix

One connected pipeline

Plug every leak once, and the same lead volume turns into more booked work. That is what we build.

The connected system

Buying just a website rarely fixes the leak.

The parts have to work as one pipeline, from the first search to knowing exactly what happened. Here is the path a lead should travel.

Step 1

Get found

Fast site, local search, map pack, and AI answers put you in front of the job.

Step 2

Respond first

Instant reply and missed-call text-back reach the lead before the competition wakes up.

Step 3

Quote clearly

Field takeoff to a clean, branded estimate the customer can sign on their phone.

Step 4

Follow through

A steady five to six touch sequence chases the quote so it never goes cold.

Step 5

Know what happened

One dashboard shows every lead, job, and dollar, plus the reviews that feed the top.

You can hire us for the whole pipeline or one piece of it. It works the same whether your customer is a homeowner, a GC, or a business renting from you month to month. Either way, it is built to connect to the rest when you are ready.

What we do, by outcome

Everything we build ties back to one of four outcomes.

Not a menu of disconnected services. Four jobs your business needs done, and the systems that do them.

Outcome 01

Get found

Become the contractor people find first, on Google and in AI search.

  • Fast local websites that load and convert
  • Google Business Profile set up and reviews that grow
  • Local search plus AI search, so ChatGPT and Google AI name you
  • Automated blog engine that targets what people actually search
  • Google Ads built and watched daily for wasted spend
  • Schema, llms.txt, and competitor benchmarking under the hood
Outcome 02

Turn inquiries into jobs

Stop leads leaking between the click and the signed estimate.

  • Instant reply and missed-call text-back
  • Field takeoff estimating with real pricing, not guesses
  • Branded proposals a customer signs on their phone
  • Lead routing straight to your phone and team chat
  • Five to six touch follow-up that runs on its own
  • Conversion tracking so you know which jobs came from where
Outcome 03

Run a tighter operation

See every lead, job, and dollar in one place. Every location, one screen.

  • One dashboard across your phone, texts, email, and forms
  • Dead-lead recovery that surfaces the quotes gone quiet
  • Quote follow-up chasers so nothing gets forgotten
  • Cross-channel reconciliation into one source of truth
  • Pricing tools tuned to your real costs and margin
  • A morning brief so you start the day knowing the numbers
Outcome 04

Grow without losing control

Add trades, crews, locations, and cities without the wheels coming off.

  • Multi-brand and parent-to-trade company structures
  • Honest trust signals and advertising compliance
  • Brand identity, yard signs, door hangers, and print
  • State-specific license and advertising requirements checked before launch
  • A repeatable launch playbook for the next city or trade
  • AI working quietly in the background, with a person on anything a customer sees
For contractors who bid larger work

Bid support from someone who spent twenty years doing it.

Commercial and public-works bids are a different game from homeowner quotes. Joshua spent more than twenty years writing government bids, capability statements, and technical narratives that won work. Bring us a live solicitation and we handle bid/no-bid judgment, solicitation breakdown, writer's estimates, the technical narrative, and a final responsiveness review.

You provide the field quantities, cost assumptions, and operational judgment. We turn them into a complete, persuasive, responsive submission. We do not provide engineering, legal, bonding, or certified estimating services.

Trades we understand

We build for the whole trade, not a template with the name swapped out.

A short list of the work we build systems for. If yours is not here, it is close to one that is. And if your business is built around the trades rather than in them, the same pipeline applies.

We are a licensed Washington general contractor ourselves. We speak contractor because we are one.

Proof, in three layers

We would rather show you than tell you.

First, the businesses we run on these systems ourselves. Then the work we build for clients. Then the person behind it.

Owned and operated by us

These are ours. Every system on this page earns its keep on our own jobs before it ever reaches a client. The companies below are live. Go look.

Built for a client

Recent client work

A septic and earthworks company in Whatcom County, Washington. A two-site system for one owner: one site for septic install, repair, and pumping, one for land clearing, grading, and drainage. Real-photo-first design, lead capture wired to instant email and text alerts, analytics and schema in place, and a review-generation engine ready to switch on. This build is pre-launch, so we are showing what was built, not results that do not exist yet. Names and logos are held back until the owner is ready to be named.

A commercial construction firm. Website and proposal support. Details shared on a call.

A note on honesty: where a result is not proven yet, we show what was actually built instead of a number we cannot stand behind. On a call, we can walk you through named examples and live work.

The person behind it

Joshua Hill

I co-own King Tides Construction and run its painting and flooring companies with my family. I am a software engineer by training, and I spent more than twenty years turning technical work into proposals, capability statements, and government bids that won contracts. I build these systems because I need them in our own companies.

The same discipline runs outside the trades too: a document pipeline built from that judgment produces priced scopes of work every week for a land-services firm under contract to a major electric utility. Different work, same standard: traceable inputs, controlled pricing, and human review before anything leaves the building. See the document production record.

If something cannot survive real leads, real estimates, and real customers, I do not sell it to somebody else.

When you hire us, you are not handed to an account manager. A person reviews everything a customer sees, and the systems are built so you get my performance even on the weeks you never talk to me. Your accounts, your data, your system: you own all of it.
